One, you are having difficulty because you used a safety pin. Second, a safety pin is at a smaller size. Bellybutton piercings and most piercings are pierced at a 14g to prevent rejection. By doing this, you risk scarring, infection, rejection and migration. Just spend the forty dollars and go to a reputable piercer, who is professional and knows what they’re doing. This was a foolish thing to do.
